Mojacar

Mojacar is made up of two distinctive areas. The old Mojacar pueblo perched on the foothills of the Sierra Cabrera mountains with stunning views of the Mediterranean coastline. Traditional white washed villages and charming narrow streets, where an array of hidden treasures are to be found. The old village of Mojacar adds charm to this popular resort with tiny shops and intimate bars with a truely traditional Spanish feel.

The sun shines for 320 days of the year and with a 9km stretch of unspoilt coastline ranging from empty coves to beaches this beautifully blue flag winning coastline offers something for every taste.

Mojacar Playa has much to offer, with an abundance of the finest Mojacar restaurants, beachfront chringuitos, bars, hotels and shops catering for all tastes.

For watersports enthusiasts, excellent activities are available such as water-skiing, jet skiing, swimming, fishing, diving and boating.

The local authorities have set strict guidelines preventing any high rise buildings being built along the coastline, as they want to protect the region and prevent it from becoming another of Spains over developed Costas.
